Sorry for not being more attentive

I apologize for not being more attentive lately. I understand that my lack of attention may have caused inconvenience or disappointment, and for that, I am truly sorry. I want you to know that I value our relationship and I deeply regret any negative impact my inattentiveness may have had.

Life can sometimes get overwhelming, and it's easy to lose focus on the things that matter most. However, I realize that this is not an excuse for neglecting our connection. I should have been more present and attentive to your needs, and I take full responsibility for my actions.

I understand that being attentive means actively listening, being responsive, and showing genuine interest. It means being there for you when you need someone to talk to, offering support, and being present in the moment. I acknowledge that I have fallen short in these areas, and I am committed to making amends.

Moving forward, I want to assure you that I will make a conscious effort to be more attentive. I will prioritize our relationship and ensure that I am fully present when we interact. I will actively listen to your concerns, thoughts, and feelings, and respond in a timely and meaningful manner.

I understand that actions speak louder than words, so I will strive to demonstrate my commitment through my behavior. I will make an effort to check in with you regularly, ask how you're doing, and actively engage in conversations. I want you to feel valued and heard, and I will do my best to create an environment where that can happen.

Please know that I genuinely care about you and our relationship. I am truly sorry for any hurt or frustration my lack of attentiveness may have caused. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me and give me another chance to be the attentive friend/partner/family member that you deserve.

Thank you for your understanding and patience. I am committed to making things right and rebuilding the trust that may have been affected. I value our connection and I will do everything in my power to ensure that my attentiveness remains consistent moving forward.

Once again, I apologize for not being more attentive, and I appreciate your willingness to hear me out.
